Title
PTC Kepware ThingWorx Kepware Server Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling
Summary
When performing an online tag generation to devices which communicate using the ControlLogix protocol, a machine-in-the-middle, or a device that is not configured correctly, could deliver a response leading to unrestricted or unregulated resource allocation. This could cause a denial-of-service condition and crash the Kepware application. By default, these functions are turned off, yet they remain accessible for users who recognize and require their advantages.

Title
GE UR family Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type
Summary
GE UR IED firmware versions prior to version 8.1x supports upgrading firmware using UR Setup configuration tool – Enervista UR Setup. This UR Setup tool validates the authenticity and integrity of firmware file before uploading the UR IED. An illegitimate user could upgrade firmware without appropriate privileges. The weakness is assessed, and mitigation is implemented in firmware Version 8.10.

Title
GE UR family input validation
Summary
GE UR firmware versions prior to version 8.1x web server task does not properly handle receipt of unsupported HTTP verbs, resulting in the web server becoming temporarily unresponsive after receiving a series of unsupported HTTP requests. When unresponsive, the web server is inaccessible. By itself, this is not particularly significant as the relay remains effective in all other functionality and communication channels.

The following mitigation actions do not ensure complete security but should be considered until the affected time synchronization product is upgraded:\n Use strong network and physical security protection to prevent an attacker from reaching the local network where Reason RT43X clocks are normally installed. \n Block TCP/IP Ports 80 and 443 to block the HTTP/HTTPS access to web interface with Reason RT43X products, avoiding all the vulnerabilities. This TCP/IP port blocking should be limited to the Ethernet port interface where the Reason RT43X clock is connected (e.g., using Access Control List (ACL)). Otherwise, other HTTP/HTTPS applications may be affected.\n Minimize network exposure for all control system devices and/or systems and ensure they are not accessible from the Internet.\n Analyze security events to early detect unexpected traffic/communication."

Title
GE Hydran M2 Predictable Value Range from Previous Values
Summary
The 17046 Ethernet card before 94450214LFMT100SEM-L.R3-CL for the GE Digital Energy Hydran M2 does not properly generate random values for TCP Initial Sequence Numbers (ISNs), which makes it easier for remote attackers to spoof packets by predicting these values.
Severity ?
No CVSS data available.
